Awards and Accolades

2025 - Inner West Young Creatives Awards

Winner - Young Artist Ages 16-18: The Fog

The Fog critiques the dehumanisation of individuals under corporate capitalism, where workers are reduced to mere cogs in a machine. Drawing on March Auge’s concept of non-places, I explore the anonomyous, transactional spaces of late-stage capitalism. Through blurred figures, I strip people of identity and autonomy, reducing them to roles.

2025 - Finalist, 2025 Australian Life

Pearle at Lazy Thinking

This photo captures Pearle, a band made up of three friends of mine, performing at Lazy Thinking - a hub for the local youth alternative music scene. The venue is small and intimate, and the use of a 22mm focal length draws the viewer into the tight, energetic atmosphere.

2024 - Inner West Young Creatives Awards

Doors Closing, Please Stand Clear

I capture the chaos of boarding at peak hour and the dissolution of identity that takes place during this universal ritual. The use of a slow shutter speed turns the moving crowd into a dense mist where all sense of individual identity is lost, emphasised by the subject and her phone usage implying further detachment from those around her.

Shortlisted in the Visual Art category, November 2024.
